The photo on the left was Christ Lutheran Church, Christmas, 1995.  The photo on the right is the new and revised version of our sanctuary on Easter Sunday, 2000.

From January to April, 2000, we totally refurbished the Church interior.  The sanctuary had not been redecorated since the church was built in 1969-1970 so some "sprucing up" was in order.  The committee determined renovating and redecorating the sanctuary would necessitate some redecorating through other fellowship and classroom areas as well.  The result is an updated, modernized interior.

The three crosses which once graced our altar area now proclaim our faith to passersby on Indiana Avenue.

They were replaced by a single gold-colored cross centered above and behind the altar.

The altar area was completely redesigned and rebuilt.

The pews were re-upholstered.

Classrooms were redecorated.

The kitchen received a facelift, new appliances, and additional cabinetry.

The Fellowship Hall was recarpeted and improved lighting was installed.

A light, bright nursery is well-stocked with toys and other necessities.
